Do’s and Don’ts after your adjustment

Do’s and Don’ts after your adjustment:
Do:
1) Rest. The first few hours after your adjustment are the most important to take it easy.
2) Walk. Unless walking is creating more pain, walk at least ten minutes each hour.
3) Drink water. Twelve ounces per hour of high quality filtered water at a minimum.
4) Take natural anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxants regularly if recommended.
Don’t:
1) Sit for long periods of time. Avoid soft, squishy couches altogether.
2) Move quickly or subject yourself to strained positions. Keep your head and torso facing the same direction.
3) Wear unsupportive footwear or heels over one and one half inches. Although this is always important, it is crucial the first 24 hours post-treatment.
4) Be alarmed if you feel different or sore. The greater the amount of correction needed, the more likely you will have some delay before starting to feel better.

And remember, the better your health is in general, the faster you will recover. Stay relaxed, eat lots of veggies, and keep moving!
